1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BeforeNineai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

BeforeNineai is an educational tracking application designed to help families manage and monitor children's study habits, track progress, and reward achievements. The service includes optional integration with third-party platforms such as Google Classroom to import school assignments.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Ensuring that your account information is accurate and up-to-date
Managing access to any third-party accounts (such as Google) connected through our service

4. Google Classroom Integration

BeforeNineai offers an optional integration with Google Classroom. By connecting your Google Classroom account, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

4.1 Authorization and Consent

You authorize BeforeNineai to access your Google Classroom data in read-only mode through Google's OAuth 2.0 authentication
If connecting a child's Google Classroom account, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and have the authority to grant this access
You may revoke this authorization at any time by disconnecting your Google Classroom account from the BeforeNineai dashboard

4.2 Data Handling

We access Google Classroom data solely to import courses and assignments into your BeforeNineai study schedule
We do not modify, submit, grade, or delete any content in your Google Classroom account
Google Classroom data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements

4.3 AI Processing of Assignments

Assignment descriptions imported from Google Classroom may be processed by AI to extract actionable study tasks, estimate time requirements, and identify subject areas. This processing is performed solely to enhance your study planning experience. AI-generated suggestions are provided as guidance and should be reviewed by parents.

4.4 Disconnection and Data Removal

You may disconnect your Google Classroom account at any time from the dashboard settings. Upon disconnection, we will revoke our access tokens and stop syncing new data. Previously imported assignment data will remain in your account unless you explicitly request its deletion by contacting us.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Share your account credentials with others
Use the Google Classroom integration to access accounts you are not authorized to manage

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of BeforeNineai are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Content imported from Google Classroom remains the property of its respective owners.

7. Limitation of Liability

BeforeNineai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of data from third-party services such as Google Classroom.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
